Terms & Conditions


1. Booking & Confirmation

  • All bookings are confirmed upon receipt of a deposit of 30%–50% of the total safari cost.
  • The balance must be paid at least 30 days prior to arrival.
  • For last-minute bookings (within 30 days), full payment is required immediately.
  • Bookings are subject to availability of accommodation, transport, and park permits.

 

2. Payment Methods

We accept:

  • Bank transfers
  • Credit/Debit cards (Visa, MasterCard)
  • Mobile payments (where applicable)

 

Any bank charges or transaction fees are the responsibility of the client.


3. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made in writing via email.

Time Before Arrival Cancellation Fee

60+ days 10% of total cost

30–59 days 25% of total cost

15–29 days 50% of total cost

7–14 days 75% of total cost

0–6 days / No show 100% (no refund)

 

Note: Some lodges, flights, or special permits may carry 100% non-refundable fees.

 

4. Changes & Amendments

Changes to confirmed bookings may incur additional costs.

Kilimora Adventure will try to accommodate changes but cannot guarantee availability.

Any price increase due to changes will be communicated and must be approved by the client.

 

5. Safari Conditions & Itinerary Flexibility

Safari itineraries may change due to:

o Weather conditions

o Road conditions

o Wildlife movements

o Safety considerations

Guides have the authority to adjust itineraries in the best interest of clients.


6. Accommodation & Transport

  • Accommodation is subject to availability; similar standard alternatives may be used if necessary.
  • Safari vehicles are well maintained, but delays due to mechanical issues or road conditions may occur.

 

7. Passports, Visas & Health Requirements

Clients are responsible for:

o Valid passports (minimum 6 months validity)

o Visa requirements

o Vaccinations and health requirements

Kilimora Adventure is not responsible for denied entry due to missing documents.

 

8. Travel Insurance (MANDATORY)

All clients are strongly required to have comprehensive travel insurance covering:

 Trip cancellation

 Medical expenses

 Emergency evacuation

 Loss of baggage

 

9. ⚠️ Liability & Responsibility

Kilimora Adventure acts as an agent for services (lodges, airlines, transport providers).

We are not liable for:

o Injury, illness, or death

o Loss or damage of personal property

o Delays or disruptions caused by third parties

Participation in safari activities is at the client’s own risk.

 

10. Force Majeure

Kilimora Adventure is not responsible for events beyond our control, including:

 Natural disasters

 Pandemics

 Political unrest

 Government restrictions

In such cases, refunds or rescheduling will depend on supplier policies.

 

11. Wildlife & Safety

  • Wildlife viewing is unpredictable; sightings are not guaranteed.
  • Clients must follow guide instructions at all times for safety.

 

12. Environmental Responsibility

Kilimora Adventure promotes responsible tourism:

  • Respect wildlife and local communities
  • Avoid littering
  • Follow Park regulations

 

13. Photography & Marketing

  • Kilimora Adventure may use photos/videos taken during safaris for marketing purposes.
  • Clients who prefer not to appear must notify us in writing.

 

14. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania.
